It is finally over and I am finally divorced. It has been about a week now and I feel relieved!!! I have had many supporting friends and family through all of this so thanks to everyone! Terry has been there for me the most recently and I cannot thank her enough. She has been supportive and talked me through a lot of stuff and now we are together and having a great relationship!!!!! I look forward to our future together and all the great times we have ahead of us!!!!

So, I have always wanted an IPOD and now apple is coming out with a new one on Sept 28th and I am trying to decide if I get one do I get the 8 gb or 16 gb. Then on top of it I really like the IPHONE but if I get an IPHONE do I need an IPOD? So many decisions so if anyone has any thoughts on the above let me know.
Also the Hurricanes are getting spanked right now 14-3 start of 2nd qtr. GO CANES!!!!!

Well I went and did my field exercise as the S-6 and it went pretty well, but I am still waiting to get my evaluation from the Captain that was in charge of me. They said in the beginning I had the best presentation so far, so I figured it could only get better. Other than that the week just finished off with a bunch of classes that we all just wanted to gouge our eyes out afterwards. Then it was time for the 96!

Today I finally went out and cleaned my car and I mean cleaned it. I first went out there thinking I was just going to empty it out and then take it some where and get it washed and the basics. Well I kept picking at the inside and the next thing I know I am detailing my car on the inside (which it needed). I thought it is a nice day I should try to get some sun before I go to FL and get made fun of for being white, and yeah you guessed I am fried on my back now. Oh well so is life but the car is clean and that is good.
The family I am staying with went to the Kenny Chesney concert and could not get enough tickets, so they asked if I would watch one of there kids and I said it would not be a problem. Well we went and had some pizza and saw Ratatouille which I was told he would like (he’s 5) and yeah it was over his head. Within one hour he was saying he was bored, tired and is it almost over. Anyway the important thing is we had a good time.
Tomorrow my weekend ends and I have to get back to getting ready for the field exercise for which I am the S-6 so I will tell you all about it once I get back. I hope it goes well!!!!

I am taking my second test this week and it is only the 6th out of 12 tests. So tonight I have been studying for this and I have been trying to also do my Comm Plan for being the S-6 for next week. By the end of this week (which is tomorrow thank goodness) I will be ready for the weekend and look forward to sleeping in on Saturday. Ok enough about work now.
Recently in my personal life all kinds of things have been going on and I want to thank all of my friends and family that have been there more than I could have ever imagined. You realize how your true friends are when times get tough and they have been around so all I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Once all of next week is over I am heading to FL on Saturday for a four day weekend (much needed) to see some of those family and friends I have spoken about above. So, if you are going to be around the hometown let me know and we will try to get together in that short amount of time. Well time to get back to studying so I can pass these stupid tests!!!

So today we go an order for a field exercise on Monday and when they were through they gave the billets out for the 3 locations, and what do you know I am the S-6 (Communcaitons Officer) for the group. So, this means I get to plan out how everything is going to be set-up, who goes where, how to accomplish the given mission in the time period I am given. The nice thing about this is it is only dealing with radios, since we have not gotten to the data and switching yet. Now after this I will only have one more billet for the rest of the time here at school. This does mean tomorrow and Friday are going to be pretty crazy Read the rest of this entry »

It has been a while but I am back and I will be blogging a lot more than I did before. If anyone ever has any questions about Communication in the Marine Corps or wanna hear about anything else going on just let me know and I will be more than happy to discuss it. Well time to look around here and make some changes.
